What if I don't have a product or a business yet?

It's perfectly fine if you don't have a product or even a business yet. You still need a personal brand. Remember, you are attracting the people who you want to attract - that's to network, to hang out with, to talk about the things that matter to you - and of course, to orffer your products and services when you have them. 

I already have a brand and a logo. Why do I need to take this workshop?
